Depicting the courage of Royal Army Chaplains’ Department in WW1, 179 of them made the ultimate sacrifice, 4 were recipients of the Victoria Cross.
Here he is depicted in no mans land armed only with his faith seeing to the wounded and the dying of the Passchendaele battlefield.
