My Family at war: My Gt uncle Pete Patrick Thomas Staunton 1st battalion The Welsh Regiment was killed on 20th February 1915 at The Bluff, near Hill60, he is listed on the Menin Gate Memorial to the missing His younger brother Pte Maurice Augustus Staunton My great grandfather was a 15 year old Lancashire Fusilier who served on the Somme 1916 & was dangerously wounded at Passchendaele in October 1917
